Tonight. 7/14 at the Ivy Room in Albany, CA with Johnny Dilks & His Country Soul Brothers and tomorrow, 7/15 at The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco Ca with Four Year Bender. FYB plays the middle slot from 10 to 11, opening for The Devil Makes Three, and then I go immediatly accross town to the El Rio in SF to headline with Johnny Dilks, probably go on at midnight. Hope the schedule doesn't change!

It looks like the middle slot. Harold Ray is on the bill but I keep hearing that he's not playing. I'll check the Ivy website and see what's up.
How do you play Cajun style steel? |

If the accordion player is playing a key of C box (which is most of the time) put a capo on the 3rd fret and play it like a dobro with lots of open strings. Check you tonight |

Bump for tonight.
Good to see you as always Billy! I want to hear some Cajun steel sometime soon! What is the 6 string G tuning again?

G major chord starting with high G on string one. I finally got to hear the full complement of the Country Soul Bros. Very cool sounding band. The ZB and you sounded beautiful. |
