BUYER BEWARE

I purchased a 10 string lap steel from Wilmer and would just like to show you an example of his work. When I plugged my guitar cord into the pickup jack it fell out not making contact on the inside. Had to take the jack plate off and bend the inside contact to make contact with the plug.
I'm including a picture of the slot where he routed out the space for the pickup and you can see what kind of workmanship (or lack thereof) he made on this. You can see clearly that the string spacing is not consistent and the strings are not lined up properly with the pickup. The finish on the board he mounted this stuff on is very crude, as is the whole guitar. The fret spacing is also off as someone else has already commented. I knew I wasn't ordering a name brand guitar but I expected to at least get something I could play. Looks like all I got for my $300 is maybe a decent pickup. Just wanted anyone else who may be thinking about purchasing something from this guy to see what you might get. Here's the link to the pictures;
