Hi All, Just a quick post to say that Sunday 25 June 06 I became an ordained Deacon at Eastland Baptist Church in Bryan, Ohio. I was asked and after prayerful consideration I felt that I just couldn't say no. God has been so good to me in allowing me to chase all of my dreams. Especially in music. Traveling with Pete, Daryle, Jeff, and TruSouth. A level of professionalism I could not have imagined. I have a gorgous wife, 3 kids and 5 grandkids. Life just couldn't be better. A saying that I try to live by is "God is responsible for the consequences of your obediance." I would encourage you all to do the same. God Bless.

Congradulations Whip, that is a wonderful thing to have happen to you and a very important position to hold in the church. Just by your testimony here I'm sure you will make a fine example to all the folks in your church keep up the good work for the Lord! God is Good!!!
