Hi everyone!
I tought I'd share a design for a leather tone bar cover I made. I play with the Ernie Ball chrome tone bar (the lighter one of the 2 variants). The trouble with chrome is that its softer than most other surfaces around, so it will get dings and scratches easily. So I came up with this design.

The fit is pretty tight, and I used waxed string for the stiches. Incidentally, the beeswax actually gives extra grip on the tone bar when playing AND it holds the tone bar in place.

When inside the cover, you can slam the cover against your thigh, and the bar will travel inside the cover to the tip. Now the cover is "locked" and won't open inside the case, etc.

I gave it tan shoe polish. Hope some of you can use this design, I've been very happy with it for the past 2 years!
