OK guys, here's one for ya. Last night I caught an episode of CMT Crossroads with Luke Bryan and the Doobie Brothers(June 2011). They had 2 steels on stage. One was stage right and was an Emmons that belonged to the player for the Doobie Brothers (John McFee).

The other was stage left and in back but during one song there was a camera shot of the player and the guitar. The guitar was red and had a brand name of "Gusher" on the right front where most PSG's are branded.

Internet searches have not turned up anything on this brand.

Does anyone have any info relating to the "Gusher" PSG?

I've also not been able to find a video of the performance for reference.

Thanks

http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=242396 Thanks to Brett Day, we found out about Luke's road player.
It's Dave Ristrim. Read his reply in the above thread re: Guster sticker on his Carter.

You're welcome, but credit goes to Dave and to Brett for ferreting these things out. He knows more about who's playing with who than anyone I know. Smile

I missed that. After I saw George S. and they failed to show the steel player I turned it off.

Brett knows more about who's playing with whom than the actual pickers themselves know! Laughing He's an amazing cat!
