Has anyone been able to download this video and save it.
I tried for 2 days and YouTube downloader at any format
says "Cannot download this Video". Has anyone else tried
to save this video with any luck. Thanks for any help.

Carl:

Can you view the video on-line? Is the problem only that you can't download it?

If that is the case, I suspect YouTube is trying to force you to watch the video online so that you are forced to watch the ads. This video is monetized, like all my lessons. If you could download the video, then I suspect you could avoid the advertising, which is not in YouTube's best interest, or mine.

These annoying ads earn me a very small bit of income (I made $100 last year), so I'm hoping my subscribers and watchers don't mind bearing up with a little bit of advertising to get a free lesson.

If that's not what's going on, then I have no clue what the problem is. Hope you can sort it out.

Paul

PS: Thanks to all for the positive comments.

Thanks, Paul. Great job. This has been very helpful.

I have been working on 'Morning Is Broken' which has quite a few minors. So this came along at a perfect time.

Carl

I use a web site called KeepVid, and downloaded it.

Find the Keep vid web site, and copy the Youtube link into the KeepVid site, and click on download. I like to save the films in MP4 format.

Thanks, Paul. That was very informative, helpful and easy to follow. As with most things involving the pedal steel the concept is easy to understand, but the now I gotta practice, practice and maybe practice some more.

Thanks Ronald. I couldn't get KeepVid but I downloaded "iLivid".
A very big file at 35MB but it sure works nice, and the video is
very good quality. Paul's video file is 65MB, so between both files
it used my daily allowance for downloads for the today, but I sure
got something good to work with out of it. Many thanks Paul. :D :D :D
Would love to see something like that for Aug. and Dim. chords.
