I was thoroughly enjoying watching the Paul Franklin interview and idly cleaning my mouse while listening and watching - I must have hit something inadvertently because the video 'paused' and, when I restarted it, there was no sound!~!!
I have sound in other applications - just none when watching YouTube. It was fine earlier today.
What could I have done???

Darn. I was afraid this would happen  Now you've clicked the wrong thing and ruined YouTube for all of us. No more sound for all those steel videos.....

Thanks, Wiz: that's exactly what I did!
While wiping coffee stains off the mouse I must have simultaneously clicked on the icon AND dragged the volume down!!! I bet I couldn't do that again if I tried!
