In the GFI room at the Dallas show, I watched Mike messing with an E9 pedal that allowed him to produce some really cool C6 sounds then return to the E9 tuning by releasing the pedal. If I recall, he indicated that the pedal raised 5,6 & 7 a halftone and I believe the 9th string a full tone. Can any of you folks shed more light on this change? Do you have it and if so, your opinion. The whole thing made sense to me and sounded great. Thanks for any replies. _________________ "The Cost of Freedom can be seen at your local VA Hospital" |

Thanks Richard for the link. I had not located the thread when I asked the question. Mike's idea is an enhancement to consider. The major obstacle I have is my hands and fingers anyway, the guitar usually doens't prevent me from sounding bad! _________________ "The Cost of Freedom can be seen at your local VA Hospital" |
