With prayers for Herby---Brother Herby is a stalwart of the Saluda show, who doesn't care what time I put him on, plays an AWESOME set every time---And does it all for the kids. If that isn't love, I don't know what is! Now, why don't we show Herby some love, while he's down. His address can be found elsewhere on the Forum (I'll paste it later), and if you can't afford to send anything, then send up a prayer for Herby's speedy recovery---The most VALUABLE gift any of us can give!!

Steve, I'm so ready for the show and you know I'll be there for sure. I hope Herby will be able to play at the show too. Brett, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel, GFI Ultra D-10

Brett, we decided that it wouldn't be Saluda without you, pal! It's ALWAYS great to see, and hear you. You got any new tunes worked up?

Yeah, Steve, I've learned Alan Jackson's song "Remember When". That's the song that features Lloyd Green on steel. Brett, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel, GFI Ultra D-10

Hey folks,

Due to the schedule change, I won't be able to make this show. Originally, the Saluda show was for the 13th & 14th, so I committed to the show in N. Va. on the 20th & 21st. I sure hate to miss this one, it's one of my favorite shows. Make sure everybody has some extra fun to cover my part and somebody please eat a hot dog for me.

See ya next time,
Jim

Ditto what Wayne said, Jimbo. Instead of a hot dog, maybe a nice salad???
Wayne, you gonna be there Saturday night, or is everybody gonna have to suffer with that OTHER guy playing bass?

When Larry plays "Old Tunes"...he's so old that he still reads the "shaped notes"!
