Hi, this is a old video of The Lovin Spoonful doing she still a mystery to me and John Sebastian is playing one. Always wondered what that sound was.

It's not a Marxophone Barry. It doesn't feature a keyboard. The metal disc is probably changeable, so you can play different tunes if you put another one in.
From what I've read the Marxophone can only be played in the keys of C or a- minor.

The Dolceola is used on the Leadbelly recording of "Goodnight Irene". (I found out after checking on the net).
