Yes, beware!

If you want to pursue it, contact a couple forum members is Spain, or Europe, and ask if anyone can vouch for him.

Being that he's asking YOU to buy something would raise some flags, if it were me.

Just my opinion.
Best regards,
Mike

Anytime you post your email addy in your topic it is visible to everyone....you can get a response from anybody, anywhere in the world.

Otherwise, noone can see your email address through the forum. Members can use the email button to send emails to your address blindly through the forum and only when you respond to that email is your email address visible to them.

Don't touch it Abe. Maybe the phantom scammer is now sending the proceeds to a Spanish nursing home.

Thanks guys. I had no intention of responding to him, just wanted to alert others - I figured he'd probably sent the same vague email (notice he doesn't name the item I'm looking for) to others and wanted to bring him out into the open so nobody falls for it. Hope nobody does.

Just for the heck of it, I input the address into Google maps. Appears to be some sort of public space in Madrid, possibly even the zoo (or a sports stadium -- there's not much detail there).
