I broke down and purchased one of these last week:

I got the R2RT, the smallest one. It extends to 39 inches.

One trip from my truck to the bandstand this weekend.

Pedal Steel Guitar
Fender Steel King Amp
Roland 80 XL Amp
Ace Pac-A-Seat
Stanley Tool Box (Cables and Stuff)
Amp Stand

What a great cart!

Been using one for several years now. One trip with all my stuff is great. My only complaint is that it doesn't fold flat enough in some situations (like car pooling with others) where there is not enough room for it. But, I was living on the 4th floor of an apartment building and had to tote my stuff from the parking lot to the elevator, then to the apartment. With a back injury, that was too much for me.

I've seen those over the years, but never at the right confluence of aching back, "extra" funds and exact-time necessity. However, there was a particular time when bad discs or no (no) I had to move some heavy things and I happened across the ultra-serious version, a simple plain one with nothing folding, for around $30 bucks at Ace Hardware. Rated to 600 lbs, the Hannibal Lector signature model.... In retrospect I wish I had "weighted" and ferreted out the one with two extra wheels up the back arms, better suited for carrying long stuff. But it fits on the back seat floor of ye olde Camry, too ugly to steal (by now) and there's nothing challenging to figure out at 2am.

Lee, they are soooo useful. A lot of people are missing out on the investment these are. I see guys making several trips into the gig when you can do it in one with the RR. I put a couple of fixtures on mine where I leave the steel set up in my van upside down, then put it right side up onto the cart, and roll it into the job.

I have the big one with the inflatable tires. Nursing homes can be a good 75 feet to the gig Smile.

I don't have that one, but I have one that does the same thing. Now that I'm getting old and cantankerous, I love the increased load capacity (rhymes with "fewer trips from car to bandstand"), since I can't always convince (shame?) the younger band members to carry my stuff in for me.
