Dobro Pad for Pedal steel

I know I've seen or maybe just imagined that at one time some players had a support that fit over the neck of a PSG to rest a Dobro on.

Does anyone know if they are commercially available or are they custom built?

Oh....I need one of those. On two occasions my strap has let go while playing the dobro and crashed into my PSG!
It's kinda like backing out of your own yard and hitting your other car.

Morell music used to make one but it was discontinued. That's disappointing because I've tried one and they are really solid.

Same here except I just have limited space at practice and on the bandstand real estate is always at a premium

Doug Jernigan would put a thick towel over the psg strings and put the dobro on top to play..JS
