I wish that I could be there; I don't think that anyone has a better "touch" than Jay Dee or "ideas" with the psg. I have always been a fan of Jay Dee Maness and I suppose millions of other fans that have bought the hit records that he is on enjoy his unique stylings also. What a rare talent!!! Hey, Jay Dee, come on back to Wolf Trap, will you?

Received JayDee's song list recently for his set at this NWSGA Event in May and will be brushing up on all the great songs he has offered up. It will definately be a great thrill to accompany JayDee, David and the many other great steelers that will be gracing our stage here in Spokane. I would like to add my welcome to all who might read this; Jim Arnold is correct , the Mirabeau Park Hotel and Convention Center is a great venue for this event and we have secured a very acceptable room rate. Check out this facility at http://www.mirabeauparkhotel.com/
We have a NWSGA Officers meeting Jan. 10 and should be able to post more details on player commitments and the show schedule for both days after that date. In the meantime, feel free to keep tabs at www.nwsteelguitar.com.

Due to our current schedule my wife, Darlene, and I were not able to attend the Mesa, AZ show this year which we have enjoyed attending for the past two years. Our thoughts are with Duane whom we know will do an excellent job of performing at this year's show in Mesa, AZ. We do have Duane's recent CD "Just Pickin Steel" which is a great CD for anyone whom likes steel guitar music! Members of our Northwest Steel Guitar Association (NWSGA) www.nwsteelguitar.com are looking forward to our first NWSGA SuperJam Steel Guitar Show being held May 20-21, 2006 at the Mirabeau Park Hotel in Spokane, WA featuring Jay Dee Maness, David Wright, Duane Becker, along with other excellent steel guitarists who will be showcased.

Dear Duane, I would like to receive information re: this upcoming seminar. Is it too late to enroll? Also, as a beginner of sorts, is this seminar "over my head" or would I be able to take a lot home with me after attending? Also, how many days does this seminar cover, a weekend, more? Thank you for your reply: Dennis Lee @ aviator014@msn.com Thank you!

About the seminar that JD is conducting it's not to late to sign up. I dont yet the the full details about what JD is teaching but I'll get it soon. I know that I would not want to miss a chance to be in a seminar with JD no matter the level of my playing. Just hanging around those super pickers is good enough for me. There are details of the event and the Spokane jam at www.nwsteelguitar.com
You can email me also and I will put you on the mailing list and send you a flyer via email or snail mail. Thanks Duane Becker
