Is anyone familiar with the Evans E120 ?

Steel guitar amplifiers, effects, etc.

Can anyone tell me anything about this amp ? I can't find any mention of it anywhere on the net.

Thanks...Phil

I believe the model should be SE120.

I think I have an SE-120? Pretty bad when you think you have a certain amp as I have it setup with a lap steel. Sounds very nice with a jazz guitar also. You have to play with the depth switch and the other switch with the tone controls. The newer models have dial controls for this.

Here's what the seller is calling an E120. Does this look like your SE120 ?

I checked my Evans and it is an E-120 with a 12 inch speaker. Nice amp and very clean.

I had, as I remember, two SE-200 amps, one with an open back and the the other had a closed back with two round ports. I also had an SE-150 that had a 15 inch speaker. I may be wrong on the model numbers as it has been years since I had these amps.

The best sounding Evans amp I heard was Buzz Evans with a new model a few years ago in Henderson, NV at the Highway Casino. Then again, it's Buzz Evans and he is a great player.
