This Sunday (April 9th) will be the last monthly club meeting before our 12th Annual Convention on the 21st,22nd and 23rd.We have a ton of business to conduct for the convention.I would appreciate all of our members being present for this meeting. There's some changes-a-cum'in.

Roger

You mean this weekend is the convention? I thought this Sunday was only the 9th? And ya'll tease me about not knowing where I'm at! Just kidding!!!

Hey ya'll this Sunday, April 9th, is the last club meeting for the SSSGC before the convention on April 22 & 23. Oh and the Friday jam on April 21. So, CALLING ALL CLUB MEMBERS!! CALLING ALL CLUB MEMBERS!! Be sure to show up and decide what ya need me to do. (I can't make the meeting.) I'd sell kisses for a dollar but I don't think that would raise much money for the club!

See ya'll in 2 weeks!!

Roger - I need an assistant too! How about I assist you, you assist me, and we get Larry to do the rest? HA! Seriously though, if you need any help, let me know. I'd be happy to assist.

I just returned from our monthly meeting.Mike Spaeth taught those of us that wanted to discuss the mechanics of the steel and the rest of the members met in the set-up room for a afternoon of round-robin playing.Mike and Sharon Brown from Decatur Ark came to listen as well as Clifton and Judy Gabbard from Elkins Ark. Both of the guys are steel players and are interested in some educational support. Afterall, that's one of the SSSGC's main functions. If you'd like some help learning more about your steel guitar, contact me and we'll see about getting you in some of our classes each month.A steel club should be more than just a place to hear music. It should be a place to learn too,and that's all I've got to say about that.

Hey Roger, just being the sqeaky wheel, but if you have any lessons/classes on Saturday, I'm there, dude. I've about learned all I can on my own for now. Also, if needed I can play some rythem guitar if needed at the convention.

Tim; I've got your convention made.Come on down. We'll start the jam session Friday evening ( the 28th ) at 7:00. Really Tim,it's the 21st not the 28th.I'm just checking to see if Miss Lana is paying attention. She's my new assistant and she's supposed to keep me lined out to keep from confusing everyone. When you reach my age, you'll need all the help you can get.See you at the show and we appreciate your help Tim.I'm going to rethink the Saturday clinics.Maybe we can get something started.
