Congratulations to John Heinrich who is featured on Tommy Overstreet's new CD project entitled "Country Gospel Favorites"! John plays the Steel Guitar & Dobro as well as Saxophone and Flute and was very excited when he heard that the CD was finally out and available. In the time that I have worked with John as his personal manager I have yet to see him as excited as he was when he called me to tell me about this event. John told me Tommy was one of his favorite Country artists as well as a good personal friend. "Working in the studio with T.O. was such a pleasure and honor, this is what it's really all about, a bunch of fine folks coming together and making music, this is a product of a successful true Red Bloodied Country Music Artist."

John recently had a song placed in a Sci-Fi film called "Encounters Of The 4th Kind, Martian Infestation," but told me the national release of the Tommy Overstreet CD project has most certainly eclipsed the film deal. The CD is packaged as a 3 CD set with 12 songs on each and it is available at Walmart.

Seconded all that Roy says about John. What a talent! Lots of success for the T.O. cds.
And not to eclipse the T.O. project, John was vital in the production of another project for J.R. Jones, DSSGA member-singer, songwriter. J.R. has written two new songs-"Damn You, Katrina" and "She's A Soldier". I have heard the master recordings of these songs. Both are destined, in my opinion, for some great attention. Very timely for both of these songs. John was outstanding on his steel, dobro etc. Very tasty in all he does.
Congratulations to John in all his accomplishments. And his D-10 EXCEL is getting a lot of attention there in Nashville. (Just had to put that in-lol)

Wow! Thanks Miz Jane, Roy and Bill for the kind words! Yes, the EXCEL Steel Guitar is all over Tommy Overstreet's new project. Also glad to hear that J. R. Jones project turned out good, it certainly was a pleasure working with him at Gene Breeden's studio, www.genebreedenstudios.com. He is quite a writer and has a good future in this field, keep that pen to paper J.R.!! Hal Higgins was on the original demo that we listened to and wrote the charts from, I thought his playing was great!

With friends like this I am one of the richest men on the planet!!

John,

Since you're so rich, give me a break on your recording rates! Ha! Just kidding, of course. You're one of the best musicians and nicest people I've had the opportunity to work with. Congratulations, and all the best to you.

John,

I just received Ken Overcast's really nice CD out of Montana and will be using almost all of that CD on my "Swingin' West" show for all the world to enjoy your steel work on that one.

Great to hear T.O. has released a new CD. It has been too long in between releases.
