TransTube Fex - Dumping User Presets via MIDI Out Jack?

I'm relatively new to the forum and to using a TransTube Fex as well. My TTF will not save data to a cache card. I have a few cards and no matter which one I insert in the slot, I get the "Not a TransTube Fex card" message and nothing happens. I also tried reinitializing the card but still cannot store user presets to it. The write-protect switch is not on. The battery is brand new as well.
The manual says I can dump presets using a cable and the MIDI Out jack on the back. My question is, what do I dump the presets to? The manual mentions using a Peavey MIDI Streamer, Librarian, or other MIDI sequencer but these are no longer available. I just called the Peavey factory and they were not able to suggest an alternate device. I presume I need some sort of storage device, but was wondering if computer software (maybe Band in a Box or similar) would suffice as long as I have a MIDI to USB cable. What I'm ultimately trying to do is save my user presets currently in memory so I can reload them if I need to reinitialize the TTF itself. Any advice or suggestions? Thanks.
