Darrel is appearing at The Classic Opry in Hillsborough, Oh. this coming Saturday (3-18-06). Wayne Hobbs is playing steel. Darrel is bringing mucicians with him but I don't know who they are. The only one mentioned was Wayne. Darrel always puts on a good show and with Wayne, it's bound to be extra good. I want to see (and hear) Wayne's Derby. If you're in the area you need to catch this show.

I'm glad to see Wayne back in action. He is a super person as well as a great picker. You will enjoy his playing.

I'd like to have one of Wayne Hobbs CD's. He did an outstanding job at the Gospel Steel Jubilee at church in January.

I met Wayne while living in Honolulu in ’80, when he was working with Don Ho! He’s a great player and I’m also glad to hear he has joined the “Derby~Family” of Steel~Guitar players! ho~ho!

Just got a call on the radio where I disc-jockey at myclassiccountry.com from Justin Trevino and Darrel McCall to play with them tonite along side my friend Wayne Hobbs so please come by and say hi going to be a great show thanks Chubby Howard P.S.
