Greeting to all and wishing you a Merry Christmas.

February 10th, the second Sunday in Feburary will be our annual Steel Guitar Show. Not having a venue suitable for a good show we didn't have one in 2012. Well, we have found the ideal place. We are now working on booking the talent for this steel show. At next posting I will be naming the talent and directions to the new venue. We will have the same great music, food and fellowship. We will also anounce the next player to be added to the Georgia Steel Guitar Wall of honor. Please make plans to attend the Northwest Steel Guitar Show. More information to come.

All money raised is donated to the Shriners Hospitals

Happy New Year to all. Ronnie and I are in the process of going through the e-mails. We are honored that so many players want to play our show. One day maybe we may try a two day event. We are also entertaining a couple more ideas to get more players in to play. So far, adding to the list along with Russ Hicks are; Jeremy Drawbaugh, Roger Crawford, Tim Hamilton, The three Bill's [Ferguson, Nicholson, and Cunningham] and Larry Moore. These are just a few of the e-mails we have gotten to, we have more to look at. Stay tuned. I hope to add direction on the next post. We are still working on a suprise guest to share the spot light with Russ. Thanks for your support. We play so the children can walk.

In light of recent comments from Blake Shelton on traditional country, and his name calling of us "old farts" which I am only a year younger than Blake and cut my teeth on traditional country and swing music. I am bringing my band, well its not my band, but the band I play in. And you wanna talk about traditional country I thought I new all the classics until I hooked up with this band 6 years ago. Will be bringin some tunes you prolly haven't heard in a long time. Look forward to the show once again love all my georgia friends.
In the words of Vince Gill "kindly keep it Country"

I think Jerry was responsible for the start. I talked with Tommy and Donna in 2002 and they said we have a show in GA. After that the club was formed.
