I will be playing this Saturday night in Brooklyn with the very cool and interesting band Pinataland, at Barbes.

This band is not at all country, but has great songs, cool instrumentation -- guitar, piano, drums, steel and tuba, and plays songs that recount strange events from history: Mormon murders, shipwrecks, and musings from the perspective of a lovelorn astronaut. And it is free, although a donation is always nice.

I will be playing at the Isleta Casino in the 777 lounge 7 lucky minutes south of Albuquerque NM Thursday (last night) Friday and Saturday night 9 til 1. Hard core country and a little blues and rock just to spice up the show. George Jones is in the big show room tonight warming up the crowd for us.
