Good question. It's not listed on his web site. http://www3.sympatico.ca/spiticco/gigs.htm
I'll be seeing him this Sunday.
He and Joe Wright are doing an afternoon performance at the Waterdown (Ontario) Legion.

I'll ask then.
[This message was edited by Joey Ace on 23 February 2006 at 05:50 AM.]

My understanding is that Steve will not be there this year although the Canadian Group with Brian Sklar are coming. Hopefully John Fabian will confirm.

I believe the good folks at Carter Steel Guitar are bring them in again...don't miss them and the 'iron men' of the steel show, Al Brisco and Billy Phelps -- those guys just keep playing and playing and playing in the Carter room...love it!!

"Brian Sklar anf the Tex Pistols" are the group that performed in the Carter Room two years ago. They'll be back this year.

Steve was there and performed with them as a guest, as did Al Brisco.

Unfortunately, Steve Piticco will not be at Dallas this year. However I think you'll find the special guests a real pleasure to listen to.

Unfortunate indeed, for Dallas...maybe he'll make St. Louis....what a player; he's no doubt one of my favorites, along with Guthrie Trapp, who's playing now with Patti Loveless.
I've got to hand it to any steeler who is brave enough to have Steve play their sets with them...I call that SUICIDE....of course maybe it's not much different than having a girl singer on your set. Image

Saw him play with Joe Wright in Ontario last November......super picker and nice fella too. He let Joe take most of the limelight, but when he stepped forward - whoa!

I'm just back from a great local show with Joe and Steve.
There was a lot of teasing Steve about Russ's above remark.

Steve said there's a "90% chance" he won't be in Dallas.

So maybe.... but not likely.

So all Russ has to worry about this time is Girl Singers. Image

Try his website (above post), CB.
His band tours Europe in the summer.
