Longhorn Special Hex Changer Tuning Key

Post by Dean Schilling »

Image

I center-(drilled & tapped) my ShowPro Hex changer key, and attached a cupboard knob (Longhorn) with a screw.

Between these, a #10 ring-lug is placed on the screw, and allowed to spin free. May also need some thread lock to fix both knobs.

The ring-lug is crimped onto a piece of #18 teflon coated wire, where the opposite end is attached under the steel.

The knob is readily available, hanging underneath. It will not twist the wire when tuning, since the ring-lug is free to rotate.

'sides, it's a lot prettier now!
