I have to say I'm quite proud of this one, even though the steel is idiot-simple by the standards of most forumites. Ive finally got over my intonation issues! The first 24 bars is steel guitar (quite unusual for rock music). The steel is through a Dan Armstrong delay straight into an old Marshall guitar amp. The delay effect is an old Albert Lee trick I pinched. Set the delay to play 1 1/2 beats late - instant U2. Incidently I'm not responsible for Claudine's lyrics!
