Hi guys,

I was wondering where I could purchase some compression springs from for my Emmons push pull. I just found that a couple of the ones on my steel are broken and need replacing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Smile

Thanks in advance
Marcus.

You should be able to get them from the Emmons Company. I have bought them there before. Probably Jerry Roller has some and I am sure that Mike Cass would have some and most all other PP mechanics that are on the forum. Good luck.

I've bought springs at a local hardware store that worked.

Did the compression springs really break? Or did someone just use two short cutoff lengths of spring together? I cannot imagine them breaking. They are hard enough to cut.

Hi Chris, that is an interesting point that you have raised. I had noticed there were a couple in there that were like little cut off bits!
That must be what the ones I thought were broken actually were, and over time one or two of the half pieces must have come off, as now only a tiny piece remains.

Today I went to the hardware store and bought some that should do the trick.

Thank you to all the guys that replied, I really appreciated your help! I will let you know how I got on.

Marcus
