Went into the studio last night for my maiden voyage.
I've been a practitioner of the instrument for some 20-odd years now, have played a gazillion gigs with bands but have, up until now, never been under the scrutiny of the studio.
I had deep apprehensions about how my playing would transfer to the time-stopping stark realty of two-dimensional sound recording.
It was fine. As a matter of fact, it sounded great! The client was delighted and I will do more for them and others.
Huzzah!

That's great Tim. Not an easy thing to approach if your a stage-guy. Or vice-versa. That is a sweet, sweet looking Emmons you got there. If you get some of the mixes, let us have a peak? |
