Due to some major financial priorities, which MUST take precedence,(car repairs, prop. tax due, etc.) I'm gonna hafta pass on Dallas this year.
I was really lookin' forward to bein' there too. Gonna miss partyin' with "BBow",& the others. Y'all drink one fer me,willya. Perhaps I might see y'all in St. Louie,in Sept.

I'll miss seeing you this year. Dallas is about the only time we get to cuss & discuss. I do understand, maybe next year.

Smiles, sorry to hear you'll be absent from the Lone Star State shindig, the place'll be a little less colorful in your absence: but hey, didn't they write a song for ya, you know "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shorts"?

Aww Smiley, it's still a few weeks away. Maybe your ship will come in by then. Be thinking of you anyway.

Dallas loss is my gain. I think 1/2 of the people that come down to see us at the Lighthouse are out just to see & hear Smiley. I know that's why I play there. Boomer

Sorry about that Smiley, I was hoping to see you there. My ship came in but it turned out to be a garbage scow.

Maybe this is a good new s bad news story. Talk about luck, If it was raining soup I'd probably only have a Fork. But thats the good news...I was suppose to share a room with El Smilo.Whew looks like it will be a while before I will see a closet full of Smiley shorts hanging.
And I guess I will have to go to Austrailia to meet Tony Davis. With my luck they discontinued train service to there so I'll have to check the drive miles.

Don't feel too bad Smiley - I have to miss Dallas this year too. Maybe the guys will chip in and buy you a gift from the show - my friends went to TSGA and all I got was these lousy shorts! HA!
See you soon buddy!
