I've just received the following E-mail which I'm posting verbatum
__________

Hello, I am E-mailing you to let you know that there will be a benefit/jam session for Russ Rask on Saturday March 25, 2006 at the Valley Eagles 16801 East Sprague Ave. Spokane, WA. from 1pm ~ Midnight ( or whenever everyone leaves).

As you may or may not know Russ had a heart attack sometime ago and since then he has gained a significant amount of weight which has led to a lot of other health problems for him. He has been told by his doctors either the weight goes or he's looking at a very early demise. Yet his insurance will not cover the cost of the Gastric Bypass Surgery. So he is going to have to pay for it himself.
As we all know any kind of surgery is expensive. He's withdrawn his 401k and that helps greatly but there is a need for lots more. We need to raise as much money as possible, but he doesn't like to ask for help. So the members of the Black Hills Gold Band and myself (Russ's daughter) are doing it for him.

If you (or anyone you know) would like to give a cash donation or donate anything for an auction it would be greatly appreciated.

You can contact Andi Reyes (swattip@yahoo.com), Tim Sharpe (sharpewoodclan@aol.com) or myself Michele Martin (michele0505@msn.com) 2308 East Mission, Spokane, WA. 99202. 509-534-3384
Please feel free to pass this on.

Thank You Michele Martin
