Kinda doubt the acronym 'WTF' around back

I've always said "since the hogs ate grandma"... either way, people look at you funny when you say it.

The "I hate Creedance" thread is hysterically funny. Beautiful post.

Two things - how to lub a pedal steel - that has been a question for the ages AND how much were stamps back then - It would have came in the US Mail
b0b had other things on his mind in '69 tooooooo
Good one

I don't think anyone would reply to the topics because the computers in those days would take up 90% of the house space. Even in 1992 when I was in Collage, it was rare for anyone to have anything but an Atari that had a 1mb hard drive and an 8" floppy disc.

Pete Drake playing on a Joan Baez song written by Bob Dylan???
Hal Rugg was also playing steel on "Anytime Now", sounds more like him IMHO.
Bill Hankey?

Surely there was a Bill Hankey thread up near the top?

One question you wouldn't find: "How much does it weigh in and out of the case?" Everybody was still young ...

"Now we have Sho~Bud, Emmons, Marlen, ZB,
and MSA. How's a guy supposed to choose between
all these brands?"
"When will 2 levers become standard?"
"Now, D10s are over $1000! How's somebody supposed to afford that???
"Is the Market-Rite really a 'pro' guitar?"

great post! I was only 7 years old then, but I'm sure the steelers back then didn't have the option of buying special made steel amps from Peavey or Webb. I'll bet they had to choose a high powered amp from Fender or Standell.

This is fun!
"JI or ET - how do YOU tune?"
"Saw the Byrds at the GOO last night - WTF??"
"How do you get a 15" speaker in a Twin Reverb?"
"For sale - my old tweed Deluxe - make offer"
"$0.35 for a gallon of gas - WTF???"
"Let's go up to Woodstock and kick some hippy *ss!!!"
"For sale - my old Bigsby triple neck - make offer"
"Who's the steel player on 'Teach Your Children Well'? He's really the [best or worst] ever!!!" - (ok maybe a year early on this one)

I had a vision about something like it back then, but the paisley butterflies on the inside of my eyelids kept distracting me.
