I am a big Line6 fan. I love their modelling products. Several months ago I bought a DT25 modelling/tube amp to use with my 6-string guitars in my new band. It has been fabulous for that - the Fender, Vox, Marshall, Soldano, Boogie models are incredibly realistic.
Tonight I had all my gear at home and I tried my steel through it for the first time. I used the "Fender Blackface Dual" settings (models Fender Twin) and it sounded fabulous!
It's a bit expensive (say compared to the Roland Cube 80XL) but after 45 years of 6-string playing it's my favourite amp yet, and to have it available for steel guitar too makes me very happy.
I wouldn't say there's enough power there for large venues, but for smaller gigs it is great, and it has a really good XLR line out to go to your soundman if you need some reinforcement.
Just some info that hopefully might be useful to someone making a decision.
