yet another NEW EBAY scam..

I received a message from an EBAY member, thru EBAY..asking what payment methods I accept ..no reference to any auctions , no references at all...

they asked for my PAYPAL Account EMAIL address , PO box for Money orders etc...

Problem was as usual. the message was sent to my primary EMAIL account mailbox which is not tied to EBAY. My seller account uses a totally different EMAIL address..

I searched the EBAY member in the EBAY advance search..no such member...

be aware...

I have forwrded the message to EBAY security..not that it will mean anything...

The same thing happened to me. I clicked on the item number and it was a phony.
