I saw this on Ebay. Looks like a BR-6 but I thought they were only made in woodtone and the earlier ones black.
item # 180993002527

Looks like a "TV White" BR-6.
I've never seen one either. _________________ "it's not in bad taste, if it's funny." - john waters |

He relisted it as a BR-6B. I thought that was the earlier ones in black. Is the yellow one still called a BR-6?

Thanks to Crowbear for posting the pic of my BR-6B. I acquired it just after the publication of the very authoritative A.R. Duchossoir book on Gibson steels. Although it was listed in Gibson shipping records, no specific description was known. He confirmed it to be that model, which had not yet been photographically documented.
If I remember correctly, only 7 were shipped. |

The first BR-6 model was black with white plastic pup cover and control plate. It was quickly replaced by the familiar sunburst. |

had one bid and sold for $599. The market appears to be soft for quite some time. |
