One of the best and perhaps the best meeting we have had. A great responsive crowd and lots of good picking. Billy Phelps treated us to a great set of country, swing, jazz, and vocals with one Christmas song. The band : Travis Cherry-Drums, Patty Phelps-Bass, and Randy Carter-Guitar. The vocalists ; Bill Helm, Larry Schoppe, and Billy Phelps. The Jam Players : Billy Phelps-D10 Carter, Tommy Alexander-D10 Franklin, Jody Sanders-D10 Pedalmaster, Jody Cameron-D10 Mullen, and Bobby Bowman-D10 Emmons. Thanks to everone for attending. No meeting in January. Tentatively, Feb. will be our next meeting. A special thanks to Billy and Patty Phelps for all they do to keep the club operating. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Jody, Billy, and Patty..
[This message was edited by Jody Sanders on 05 December 2005 at 06:35 PM.]

[This message was edited by Jody Sanders on 05 December 2005 at 06:36 PM.]

Jody, thanks to you, Billy, and Patty for your efforts in keeping this club going. I had a great time Sunday, and by the way, you did an outstanding job on steel. You played better than I've heard you play in a long time.

I agree, it was a great meeting. The talent we have around here is phenomenal. It's what you'd expect at a steel show, like Dallas or St. Louis. Come to think of it, these guys play the shows. Jody Cameron, you made my Mullen sound great. Thanks for the demo. I know if you'd had more time to get the amp settings to your likings, it would have been even better. Those Chaulkeresqe sounds were sweet.
