You guys who are beginner like me really need to attend one of these if it’s at all possible. When I went to my first one, I wanted to go home and load all my stuff in the truck and take it down to the dumpster at the local car wash. Although I was a little discouraged at how far away I am at ever getting to play in public, these guys were overwhelmingly great to talk to. They provided encouragement and they are great to listen to. At this one, I got to hear 5 different guitars and 5 different set-ups. Some play through rack systems and some just through simple rigs. At this one, I got to hear an Emmons, Mullin, Pedalmaster, Franklin and a Carter. These things are worth the trip for the education. Also, If Jody Sanders was hurt, I darn should couldn’t tell it in his playing. Also, I got to experience probably more than 100 years of experience in that room, and all of them were more than willing to talk to me and help me. In fact, Billy Phelps made a tab sheet available and then he played the lick several times at difference speeds so the players could learn the lick and he also explained how to use the lick in different songs. This a great deal and all they ask in return is a small donation if you are so inclined to make one….James

Thanks James for the "roses" . It was a pleasure to have you and your wife at the show. You are right on. Even I always learn something at these meetings. Have a good one, Jody.
