I would dearly love to be there. Would Joe and Steve consider coming to Alberta?

Hey, all you guys that are close to where Joe will be doing his seminar - you should make arrangements to attend. Joe is fast becoming one of the US most active players conducting seminars. Joe is certainly a master of the steel and everyone will learn and benefit from his teachings. One more thing, even if you are not close to the seminar it would be worth your while to make the long drive! Scotty

I've attended JW's seminars long ago (back at the turn of the century) at LT's Grand Rapids Shows. I still benifit from what I learned there.

Steve has a solo CD, produced by Joe.
Of course there's Steel on it, also by Joe.

Steve also has an instructional Tele DVD, five camera angles, also produced by JW.

Andy, Jeff Bradshaw had Joe out here a few years ago - regrettably I was out of town at the time. (Jeff has also had Doug Jernigan out a couple of times).

Nine Hours Bob. I can drive to NYC in about 8, the seminar is an hour from me.

Basically you take 81 North to the NY Sate Thruway West to Niagria Falls, cross into Canada and drive another hour and a half toward Toronto.

Try http://www.maps.google.com for details.
Search for Whitby, ON.

Hamilton, Toronto, and Whitby are all cities along Lake Ontario.

Hamilton to Toronto is about a 45 min drive.
Whitby is only about 10 minutes from Toronto's east border.

It sure would be great to see some of you folks there.

I'm really looking forward to this. I've got all my travel plans in place, getting into Pearson airport from Newfoundland @ 9:15 AM, renting a car and booting it to Whitby for the seminar....should be high adventure.
I'm looking forward to the Bob Lucier show in Waterdown Sunday as well. In Newfoundland, we don't get to hear and see many steel players, let alone study with a great one like Joe Wright. This will be my first time attending such an event.

I'd figure an hour from Pearson, Chris, give or take 15 minutes. Just straight east on the 401. Wish I could be there with you guys.
