When I hook up the output of my laptop to the aux in of the Cube, I have to turn the output level of the laptop to 4% (most of the time I forget to do this before hand!!)
What solutions are being used to better control the aux input volume? I've looked at a few solutions, but wanted to see if anyone else has a recommendation.

Manual says the volume is controlled by the device that's plugged into it. I pluged my ipod into it and it was scary loud. I always remember to check the volume now. |

Thanks for your replies, thought I would share what I finally came up with for my solution. At just under $8, the price was right too!

For future reference, there are any number of places to turn down a computer's output, some of which will alter the signal/noise ration. Control Panel -> Sound Effect Manager lets you in to an equalizer, headphone/speaker selector, various types of reverb (called "sound effect" for those who don't know what "reverb" IS...?!?) There's about five volume controls between "you" and "it." |
