You can pre-order your copy of this great CD by Blue Hawaiians featuring Gary Brandin on Steel.
Amazon is accepting orders now and they'll ship it when it's released on Nov 15th.
This is high energy ground breaking stuff - recorded live!

Any CD that features the "Our Man Flint" theme is cool by me...

"Swingin' Hula Girl" is outstanding also...

(Thanks again, Gary!)

It's one of those albums that you hear something new every time you listen.
In that respect, it's like "In The Dark" - you never get tired of it.
There the resemblance ends though - In The Dark is a portal to the realm of dreams and visions, while Lava Lounge II is a conduit to the party of your life.
It romps along with the energy of a free-form jam, yet the arrangements are tight and meticulously executed.
Much of it is instrumental, and includes pumped up versions of TV & Movie themes as well as some great originals. In addition to Gary Brandin's tasty steel work, drummer Tom Maxwell and bassist/vocalist Mark Fontana lay down a rock solid rhythm for Mark Sproull's imaginative guitar playing and Erik Godal's searing B3 & Moog.
This is the way it's supposed to be - innovative music created by real musicians, and performed for an enthusiastic audience.
And as Dave mentioned, the cover art alone is worth the price of admission.
I can't say enough about this CD - you won't be disappointed.

Release date is Nov 15 - you can pre-order now from Amazon to make sure you get yours . .
