Lynn Owsley is in town and will try to make the jam, too. Lynn came over to my weekly gig, Tuesday, at Catfish Johnny's and worked the last set for me. But Lee Holloway made me pick lead with Lynn on my steel (It shows why I quit picking lead and went to steel).

I sure wish that I could get down there and be in all that tall cotton. Again, the names sound like my "Swingin' West" play lists.

Have a great show!

I'm looking forward to it. I hope to hear some really hot licks from Jack Dougherty and Jack Stoner as well as smoothe pickin'
from the rest.
See you there Don.

Nick, you know where we are. This is a good time of year for a Florida getaway. The weather is still warm (low 80's) and gas prices are dropping.

No, No, Nick. Wait until the December jam when I will be there -- unless you can come both months. I want to hear you play again.

Jack my new 112 is to be delivered tomorrow by Fed-x, hope it comes before 3:00, we are bringing some new folk that love steel guitar, Jack D. he carries my guitar in for me at home after each show, you know how high those steps are. When i pull up on Monday nite the guys come out before I can get the trunk open it is empty and carried into the building, they are so nice.

What a great night of pickin' and a lot of folks came to listen and chat. As usual we had a great backup band. Thanks guys.
Lynn Owsley dropped in and picked with us last night. It's always a pleasure to have Lynn with us when he's in the area.
"Hoss" from NY was at the show and wants me to say "HI" to the folks at the PSGA.
Now I'm off to the PSGA Show in CT for the weekend.
