A special thanks to all that made the show a great success. The songwriters made Friday a lot of fun also Ron & Leslie Elliot was there with Ron having lots of stories to tell. Thanks to Lyle Clary for comming I hadn't heard him play but he did a great job and as always a lot of fun. Ron & Leslie was back on Saturday and boy did Ron have a bag full of tricks and to hear him play was a treat. They'll be back in April for our steel guitar conference along with Russ & Laney, Randy Beavers,Joe Wright, the great Don Helms, Lynn Owlsly and mabe a very special guest. Southern Illinois Productions is getting bigger and better all the time and a big thanks to all the steel players that help us. Again a big thanks to Ron & Leslie Elliot your great as always.

Don, thank you and your complete staff for inviting us. We had a great time both days and enjoyed the players and the super "Kitchen staff". The fun and food was great. Please tell Sheila and the staff an extra large "Thank You" from us both. Don, not only are you a great host, but a super singer and entertainer. I'll be seeing Bobby Reed and give him our thanks in person. THanks again, and I'm so looking forward to the Show in April. Take care and stay in touch. Ron & Leslie

Amen to what Ron said. It was great to be with all you folks. Ron,tell Bobby Reed he needs to put to paper those fantastic story-poems that he tells. He could be the next cowboy poet laurette. Thanks again for making this Northern Illinois boy feel welcome. And thank you Don for your kind words.

With Ron there I KNOW everyone was entertained! His humor coupled with his awesome talent is the treat of a lifetime. Hey Ron, what is that thing? HA!
Seriously, Ron and Leslie are truly the best. Sorry I had to miss the show. You know I wanted to be there.
