Bowie.
Thanks for those kind words. Please everyone that can come please do so we can make this thing a blast.I know of nobody that has done as much for the steel community as my friend Bowie Martin has.Lets show our support and have a great time doing it.I'll be there to teach anything that I can.Bowie has forgotten more licks than most of us will ever know. We'll pick some of those (Clyde Mattocks) out of him.By the way I just talked to my good buddy Ray Walker and he said that he was trying his best to be there on Sunday.Ray is always a blast.See all of you on Sunday.

Just arrived home from the Share-A-Lick. Good afternoon. Thanks to Ricky for his easy-to-understand breakdown of at least 4 fast licks.
This is and always has been a very relaxed jam with everyone feeling free to ask any questions.
Thanks for having this Bowie, Larry, & Hank.

What a great afternoon!! Ricky Hagan did so much for everyone...his patience is great. He can slow down his super fast picking slow enough for us mere mortals to hear and try. And he takes the time to work with everyone individually.

He did some great picking to recorded tracks; Glenn Lanning and Ray Walker did some beautiful work on some individual numbers with tracks, and we had a nice turn out of players of all levels. Nice time socializing, etc.. Our next trade a lick session is Dec. 11 in Wilson. E-mail me to be put on our e-mail list. We have fun, low key sessions. Guarantee you will pick up something.

Many thanks to Larry Hilliard (who advanced to doing some instrumental tracks now!!) and Hank Williams (who picked out a few numbers also), for all their work on the facility today. I was unable to be there for set up and close up.
