The Ohio Steel Guitar Association has a scheduled jam for October 16-th .( Sunday afternoon )at 3:00 pm. It will be held at the home of O.S.G.A. ( Marlin Dowden Charity Fund Building ,1410 Williams Rd. Columbus , Ohio 43207 ).This will be a new thing for us . We are having a ''Round Robin '' jam . We will have sound tracks to play by . Please bring your own tracks that you like to play to and we will use those also . The music will be as always Gospel , Country , Jazz , etc. So please bring your steel guitar and amp and be a part of this jam . Everyone will have a chance to play . The guitars will be set-up in a half circle or whatever it takes to get everyone ready to play . Mr. Bob Allen will be in
charge of this jam . Bob is one of our great steel players that we have in our club .As i
said this is something new for us, so please come and help us out with this . We will still have the Buffet dinner that we are known for so come hungry . As always if you have any questions you can get in touch with me at ( 614 ) 774-3109 . I also would like to take this time to let you all know that we have had some set backs in the club . Our computer has been down and it should be ready to get things back up to speed soon. Also as i have said in the past our friend Larry Robison is fighting a battle with cancer.He was doing our newsletter . So we are trying to get the newsletter back in circulation . Please be patient with us as we try to get things back in order .We are in the process of getting the billing out for the new year dues . Thanks and best regards , Gary .
