For information about the festival, click here .

I'm very pleased to announce that the Moonlighters will be performing as the headliner at the Joseph Kekuku Festival in Dover, NJ on October 8th at 8pm. This performance is a benefit performance to the memory of Joseph Kekuku, a man who's contributions have meant so much to so many of us.

The performance will take place in a 1906 Vaudeville-era theater called Baker Theater.

If you only attend the performance, seating must be in the balcony?

I got a plan ... I'll drive up and see the show ...

Afterwards ... I'll lure y'all into my truck (equipped with child safety doors) ... lock it up ...

And drive to Joliet for the HSGA Convention ... Oct 13-15

Now what could I use for bait ... Image Image

Awesome. See you guys there. Looks like it's going to be a real treat, as some great players are going to be there, myself excluded of course. Image

Wish I could make it. Gotta finish repairing a roof that a racoon tore through.

I've seen the name of Mike Esposito affiliated with this festival. I remember seeing his trio back in the late 70s. He played a variety of resophonic styles, well. And sang.

Mike Esposito is indeed a stellar picker of all things slide. I have seen and heard his Dobro playing at 2 of the Resonator Gathering's I attended at the Dopyera's home in western PA. Does a great job on lap steel also. I believe he was one of the key people in getting the tribute to Joseph Kekuku started. He lives in that area of NJ.
[This message was edited by Frank Lombard on 06 October 2005 at 08:34 AM.]

[This message was edited by Frank Lombard on 06 October 2005 at 08:36 AM.]
