New Promat SD 10

Hello dear PSG friends.Here we got brand new Promat
SD 10.With Bill Lawrence pickup,new changer system you have very easy and smooth action,very playable
instrument with sound like dream.For all true PP lovers,this guitar is must /hear,see and try/.When
Mr Papic called me to his home,I just can*t wait
to get there and try this beauty.And like his all
guitars,just after few minutes,you got feeling that
you play this guitar for years.

Thanks Mirko. Interesting is a new changer system. When I was last time in Promat house Mr. Papic showed me his new changer

. Maybe Mr. Mirko can tell us more about ...

Hi Norbert.This is something you should try.This PSG
deserve serious atention.I mean,this is really hand

Hello Norbert.I just want to say that I am only a test player for Mr.Papic who is builder of Promat pedal steel guitars.He lives in Novi Sad here in Serbia.If you are intersted to play some of his guitars you can go to Slovenia which is much nearer to you.I think there are 5 of his guitars in Slovenia.So if you are able to come I can give you
contacts with them.In case that you want to come directly to Novi Sad I*ll be glad to met you.

Hi Norbert.Sorry for delay.I live in Serbia,but Mr.Papic sugests that if you want to try one of his
guitars you can go to Slovenia,so if you decide we can make contact with steel guitarists in Slovenia who own his guitars and you can play them.

at 4 years pickin`i`m still a beginner but played two push pulls and i must say they sounded great... the promat seems the best choice left if you wanna have one...
i keep on thinkin`about it mirko

Because I own some explanations, here it is>
In a dialog with Mr. Papic, Conserning the questions put by__Mark,Chris and Todd_, I've learned that the answers are the following:
-This improved changer PROMAT can be placed into any P-P PSG, but as we know that is not a common thing to do, and it would be expensive. Besides, if mated that way into any brand PSG, this instrument would be neither an Emmons nor a Promat. Mr. Papic is of an opinion that reknown makers of instruments as the mentioned above, have excellent changers, and as he can observe, the musicians throughout the USA and the World, are satisfied very much with them.
-The concept of the PROMAT P-P PSG stands, if we pinpoint the changer, on an implication of a somewhat different technology and materials, that provide for greater longevity as well as a slightly different but good tone and sustain. Here, Mr. Linn Stafford is right. Besides, he is realistic and cautiosly reserved towards the improved changer, and I am greatfull to him on that.
-Keeping all this in mind, this improved PROMAT P-P changer was intended only for the PROMAT PSG, but it can be used also as a changer on any standard P-P-PSG with standard mounting positions.
-To summarise, this changer is existing since November 2011, when Mr. Papic started to use it and evaluate it's capabilities. He is very satisfied with it, whereas constructive criticism can be of great help.
