New member with recently purchased ZB

Post by Richard Shaw »

Hello All
I have just joined the forum and and I'm a very proud owner of a recently purchased ZB Custom. I live in Boston Lincolnshire in the UK, and although I've played guitar for quite a while I'm new to the PSG
I'm slowly working my way through the 102 past ZB posts trying to gather as much information as I can. I can't find a serial number on my guitar and all I know is it is probably from the 70's and would have been imported to the UK by Eric Snowball. Cosmetically it is in really good condition but could really do with a clean and setup.
I hav'nt yet worked out how to upload photos so in the meantime I have provided a link to Photobucket where there are a number of pics. I would be much obliged to anyone who could provide a litle more information about my guitar.
Kind regards.
Richard

None of those pics show the place where the serial number is usually die-stamped: the underside of the endplate near the input jack. From about 1969 on into the 70s numbers should be 0###. "Scranton" models 1965-1969 are 1001-and-up (ending in the high 1100s if memory serves.)

Thanks Ben. I've gone over the whole guitar and can't find a serial number anywhere.
