Our sincere thanks and great appreciation to Ted Nesbitt and his staff and friends for helping us make a dream come true. In my years of travel and music, I have been around most of the world, but since a child have always heard " IF ye ever go to Ireland", so that has been my dream. So, with the help of wonderful people, it's finally goin' to happen. Many thanks to all!

Ron, if your experience is anything like mine, you'll have a wonderful time. Jet lag will work in your favor, and you'll be able to stay up until the wee hours playing. You'll find that the hospitality of the ladies and gentlemen of the Irish Steel Guitar Association is as good as it gets. You'll be wildly appreciated and make many new friends. You'll hear several players that will inspire and delight you. You'll want to come back every year.

Ron, I went two years ago, nicer people I've never met. I told them if they wanted the best in the up coming years they should get you. I see now that they agree with me. I only wish I could be there to see you play and witness how much they are going to appreciate your great, great talents. Yes, your talent as a player, and your talent as a showman. (now let me sub for you in Gallatin while you are gone!)
The band is wonderful also Ron, these guys really are great players and work very hard to please. But be careful of the piano player, he's a closet banjo player also!

All I can say is, "Ireland, get ready, you are going to love this guy Ronald Elliott!" He's crazy!

Ireland is one of my favorite places I've gotten to play music at. They have this fantastic liquid breakfast. Its black with foam on top. Amazing.

If you are hanging out in Dublin try to spend an evening at Whelan's. Now there is a bunch of people that know how to have a good time !

I may be over there around the same time with a band I tour with.

You will love it.
