On NPR today Garrison was advertising this weekend's edition. He said Cindy will be "Speedin' West". Also, Boselieu (sp), the Cajun band. Should be a good show......

See, everyone can find something good on liberal radio.

Not only is Cindy playing but it will be with the band the High Flyers with Red Volkaert and Elana Fremerman on fiddle. I better mention Jake Erwin on bass or else he'll probably go onto some bass players forum and talk about how some dumbass steel player totally ignored the bass (same as we would if we were left out). And yes, Beausoleil is on too, which I spelled right because I copied & pasted it from the website instead of even thinking of trying it on my own.

I listened to them on my way to my gig tonight. Cindy was great, she's really honed in on classic non-pedal styles. Red was his usual amazing self, and their fiddler is wonderful. Great stuff.
