Im thinking the reverb on my Evans eighty has stopped wOrking. If u move the amp, you can hear it making the noise. Any suggestions?? Thanks a lot!!

Have you checked the connections?
If you hear the thunder, the tank and the return both work.

Well, I wouldn't know how to check the connections. I can try though. What should I look for?

Usually the tank is in a bag screwed to the bottom (sometimes the side) of the cabinet.
Turn the amp off.
Take those screws out, slide the tank out of the bag, and look at the RCA connectors. Look for broken wires, make sure they are plugged in.

Then turn the amp back on, and see if it's working.
Then you could check at the other end, but that's a bit more of a challenge.

OK. I just looked at my FET500.
Evans didn't put the tank in a bag, nor is it on the bottom.
Look for a sheet metal rectangular box on the side of the cabinet, mounted vertically. Check the connectors, and pull them off and put them back on, with a twisting motion.
I'll take a pic shortly.

I don't see any RCA connectors or anything that I can remove. I took a pic but can't upload bc I'm on my iPhone.

On the FET500, the tank is on the side, standing vertical. The two connectors are on the front of the tank, facing the baffle. You may wish to feel rather than take everything apart. I find it inconceivable that they wouldn't use the standard connectors.

might be an internal digital reverb in there, in which case no tank

I found the tank. Check the connectors they seem to be fine. I'm wondering if there is a bad connection somewhere else. I guess Ill just use a pedal until then. Thanks for the help guys.
