I'm really excited to be playing again with my friend (and legendary Irish musician) Paddy Keenan. He is arguably the finest uilleann piper touring today and it's totally joyful to play music with him. We had a uproariously good time touring Ireland in June along with Tommy O'Sullivan.

This time it will be Paddy (http://www.paddykeenan.com), a fellow named Patsy O'Brien (www.patsyobrien.com) and me [or "and I" for any English majors out there] (www.petegrant.com). We'll all have CDs for sale at the shows. Support your local and international musician. There are two Bay Area shows and two in the foothills of the Sierras. I'll be playing my 8-string National Reso-Phonic Model D, and may even play some PSG given the chance.

Saturday, September 17th
The Plough and The Stars, San Francisco
with Patsy O'Brien and Pete Grant http://www.theploughandstars.com

Sunday, September 18th

This is really quite an opportunity to enjoy a legendary player (Paddy, not me) in a good setting.

Thanks, Richard. The first show was great. Lots of energy. Paddy continues to amaze me and delight the audience.

One more chance to see this (Friday nite, 7:30). Tonight we played pipes and pedal steel together for the first time. Pretty freaking awesome.

I went to the show on the 18th.
This is a rare-gotta-see show folks.
Don't miss it.
Some of the most heart-felt music I've ever heard, played by masters.

Bummer, I'm playing both nights and won't be able to make the show, and it's a 10-15 minute walk from my house.

Have a good show. DZ
