I would enjoy getting together with another steel player that lives in the north central Oklahoma region. I am 40 miles north of STillwater, Ok and would enjoy getting together with someone to swap ideas, jam, etc. I used to belong to the OSGA, but havent attended in many years as I spend alot of my time in Arizona, and belong to the association out there. Anyway, I am also a guitar player and could rhythm for you over any chord progression and enjoy doing that also....I mainly play Travis pickin on the guitar, but enjoy all of it. Let me know via email if there is any interest...not trying to form a band or anything, just get together for fellowship and pickin. If it matters, I have been playing for more years that I would care to admit ! haha

Larry has there EVER been any steel players in Northern Oklahoma???? Devil

For those who do not know - I was raised in Kay County so I am just joking -- Larry and I took lessons from the same guy in the '50's and '60's there were lots and lots of us taking steel and guitar as well.
