This Sunday afternoon Country Exresss will appear at the Lumberjack Festival, at the Bobcat Ski Center at Andes, NY. We will play from 12 to 2, and again from 3 to 5, on the back porch of the ski lodge. The lumberjack show will be in full swing on the other side of the ski lodge, and there will be a chicken Bar-B-Que, craft venders, etc. Come out and see us! Larry J. www.countryexpressmusic.com

We were supposed to be at Casino Magic in Bay St. Louis, MS along with Ray Price, Gene Watson, John Conlee & Mel McDaniel this weekend. Don't think the city exists anymore, no less the casino. What a mess...

Evergreen State Fair, Monroe, WA.
Friday & Saturday 5:15 on the Courtyard Stage with Gerry Andal & the Roughriders. (I want to add that I spent some of my growing up (!) years in Metairie, LA. & I feel really heartbroken at the events there. I will send my earnings from this gig to the Red Cross).

Here in Indianapolis there is a huge car show happening just north of downtown by the Gatling Club....I will be playing Saturday evening after the car show with Slick Andrews (Louisville) and the Crooked River Playboys.

saturday nite we will be at the Lazy Lakes eating place, in High Springs Fl. Last month they sold out while we were there,
Great out doors gig, With David Henrie, Paul, Bill Whitfield, Olan on bass, Tony Selman on drums. ernie on Shobud LDG.
Mon. nite Union county Jamboree, Wen. VA Hospital, playing for the vetrans, This is a heart warming gig to see a man in a wheel chair, his wife helps him stand and they dance in place, this makes it all worth while for me.
Tonight mabe Quitman Ga.

Saturday night we're playing a private party in Grass Valley, Ca. with the belly dancers.
Just found out that the lead guitar player in the country band I'm in is off to Louisiana for 3 or 4 months to help the people there....so we are going into plan B and changing the setlist until he gets back.

I will be subbing for Jerry Newberry on steel at the "Good Old Boys Show" in Barling,
Arkansas tonight, Friday, with my son playing lead guitar. Tomorrow night is my steady Saturday job on steel at "The Little O'Oprey" in West Fork, Ar. 8 miles South of Fayetteville on I540. The Country Gospel group "One Way Flight" is off this Sunday night.

I'll be with Brian Burns at the San Pablo Moose Lodge in San Pablo Ca. on Labor Day. This is an annual all day event (4 country bands) 5 bucks to get in and all goes to charity. We hit at 3pm

I'm working with Willie Cantu, Earl Erb, Drew Covington and a cast of thousands, Ok maybe hundreds, Ok would you belive,,,, anyway, you all asked I'm a telling. C Ya there.
